Embroidery on the Longarm

Embroidery on the longarm offers great opportunities to stitch out designs on a larger scale for home decorating, gifting or incorporating into a quilt. Use Pro-Stitcher and Pro-Stitcher Designer to convert a redwork or etching embroidery from a machine format such as *.VP3, *.PES, etc. to use on your longarm. We will discuss thread and batting choices, fabric preparation, appropriate design choices and the process of the conversion and “tweaking” the designs. Though not required, you may wish to purchase a design from Embroidery Library if you would like to convert that design in class. We will stitch out one design I have prepared.
Requirements:
Windows laptop with Pro-Stitcher Lite or Pro-Stitcher Premium and Pro-Stitcher Designer software already loaded and tested, wired mouse. Note: Pro-Stitcher Designer is included with Pro-Stitcher Premium, depending on the purchase date. It is NOT INCLUDED with Pro-Stitcher Lite, but can be purchased separately. Basic knowledge of the laptop and Windows navigation is required. Suggested Designs from Embroidery library (emblibrary.com): delicate daisy etching, brushstroke bouquet, Not-So-Spooky- Garden Etching – Pumpkin, Ironwork flowers, Lovely Tulip Etching, Garden Crocus Etching
