The Tonga Forest Floor quilt by Wing and a Prayer Designs is a twist on tradition featuring twelve 12" blocks nestled in a log cabin setting. Replacing a standard border is an easy pieced border that frames the quilt interior, showing off the beautiful range of custom-selected batiks.

Stitching Society

Beginning in March, you will learn 61 different embroidery stitches and stitch combinations, get a small project pattern each month and receive 180 hexagon motifs. Many people work the motifs in wool, but the projects are optional. You are welcome to just learn the stitches and work on your own projects. The purpose of the class is to learn how to "stitch" while you make wonderful small projects or blocks for a quilt.

Slow Stitching

this is an on-going group formerly dedicated to applique. this year we are expanding it to cover all types of "slow stitching" - think handwork.  Examples of slow stitching include applique, embroidery, English paper piecing, hand piecing, hand quilting and wool work. If you enjoy the slower pace of handwork, this group is for you!
